Green Protein Smoothie

Green smoothies have become one my favorite ways to start out my mornings because they are full of nutrients and they give me so much energy! Sometimes it’s difficult to eat enough green, leafy vegetables in a day to get the protein and other nutrients you need, so green smoothies are a great way for your body to get a boost! Here is the recipe for my (current) favorite go-to green smoothie πŸ™‚

Ingredients

  • Kale
  • Parsley
  • Lemon Juice (from half a lemon)
  • Small Piece of Ginger
  • 2-3 Medjool Dates
  • 1 tsp. Chia Seeds
  • Water

Method

Put all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

Tips

  • Try to always use organic greens for your smoothies…so much more nutrients!
  • Always wash your fruit and veggies first
  • Mix up the greens, seeds, and fruits you use to achieve different flavors and nutrient contents.
